Fish falling from sky shatters N.J. car's windshield

By Brianna Kudisch | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

A Monmouth County couple received a fishy surprise Sunday afternoon, when something fell out of the sky and shattered the windshield of the car in their driveway.

Cynthia Levine was inside the house and her husband, Jeffrey, was in the backyard of their Atlantic Highlands home when they heard a loud smashing sound around 3:30 p.m., said Sage Levine, their daughter.

The car alarm on the couple’s Tesla began sounding.

Jeffrey Levine initially thought it was a neighbor’s car. But, when he went to the driveway, he saw the broken car windshield and a fish nearby, said Sage Levine.

“It’s so absurd,” she said, noting there were fish guts left behind on the car.

Was trying to find a safe dinning spot,... and dropped it in transit.

Feed it to the cats.

That reminded me a story one of my uncles told during our annual fishing trip. He said he and his friends were out at a camp for hunting one time, eating in front of a camp fire, when a dead skunk was dropped right in front of them. Even though dead it still stunk things up. He said the only thing they could figure is that an owl must have killed it and then dropped it while carrying it.

about some Russian Air Force guys stealing a cow and smuggling it onto a cargo plane, expecting to have some fresh steak later. Flying over the Pacific ocean, the cow went berserk, and the men woulnd up pushing it out of the plane from 30,000 feet. It crashed into a fishing boat, and sank it. The crew had to send out a Mayday, and were rescued by the Japanese Coast Guard.

Otherwise, why drop such a smelly thing so precisely?
