(10,005 posts)1. Fascinating lineup. I don't remember seeing "Ironweed"
but I've seen all the others. I'll never watch "Sophie's Choice" again (too sad) but Meryl Streep's acting in that role is probably the finest ever. I remember while reading "The French Lieutenant's Woman" I thought, "They'll never make a movie of this one," but they did, and made a fine job of it.
