Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsOhmigod! All my favorites were at Stanley Tucci's wedding reception.
Alan Rickman, Emily Blunt (Of course. Tucci married her sister), Tony Shaloub, Olivier Platt, Steve Buscemi, John Krasinki, Aaron Paul.
We don't have photos of Meryl Streep or Colin Firth but they were allegedy there.
Maybe we should start a 6 Degrees to Tucci?

(95,337 posts)He has had some great parts playing a gay man and is very convincing - parts in 'Daytrippers', 'Devil Wears Prada' and 'Burlesque'

(46,727 posts)In fact, Tucci was a guest for one of the Monk shows, where he played an actor who shadowed Monk to pick up on his characteristics for a movie that would feature Monk. It's amusing to see Tucci take on Monk's mannerisms. However, the show ended sadly because the actor mentally couldn't tell the difference between reality and make believe. In the end, he understood better than anyone the torture that Monk's gift/curse brings to him. For Tucci, as it did for Monk, it led to a mental breakdown.

(95,337 posts)Shaloub & Tucci play these Italian brothers than run a restaurant in a NJ Suburb near NYC I think it was back in the 50s. (Their names are Primo and Segundo (1st and 2nd)). SHaloub is the older brother who is a bit introverted but a cooking genius who refuses to compromise his food to match American tastes. Tucci is the younger brother who is a bit of a playboy and runs the front-of-the-house.
Their restaurant has amazing food but is struggling compared to the Italian restaurant next door that is doing very well but has substandard food.
Movie got close to 100% fresh rating on Rotton TOmatos

(95,337 posts)At the end of the night you'll be thanking me.
If you want to do a great Stanley Tucci double feature then also rent 'The Daytrippers'. Hope Davis and Stanley Tucci play this NJ couple and Davis finds a love letter her husband wrote to someone else. She decides to drive to the city to confront him on it and joining her are her parents (Great cast with Ann Meara as the mother), her sister and her sister's really pompous asshole brother (another great casting with Liev Shrieber).
It has one of the best twists at the end of the movie!!
