1. EXCELLENT!!! When I got out of the Army in the late 70's...

... I got a job making railroad boxcars in Ashland City... about 25 mi NW of
Nashville. We could cash our paychecks every Friday afternoon at a little
Mom-and-Pop convenience store. We'd each get a 6-pack and grab a seat
on the floor in the (very-crowded) aisles.

Local farmers in their biballs and straw hats (not a one of 'em under 65-70
years old) would come in and play the most awesome unplugged bluegrass
for free.
.
It might have been the biggest venue ANY of these old boys had ever played
at... and they were just amazing.
