They have good stuff!

Last summer, my husband and I traveled to Iceland, and we bought a lot of cold weather stuff from REI......our things really performed very well. Our waterproof clothes and shoe covers kept us dry!

Enjoy your snowshoes!

There is a big REI retail store about a 3 minute drive from my office. Too convenient.

Good stuff, though.

I'm covered either way. If it is like last winter with almost no snow, I will just ride all winter.

before I made a trip to Colorado in the winter. I have not worn them since then. I live in North Grorgia where we get snow maybe once a year and it does not stick around for long. Glad I shopped at Goodwill.

Here, during the colder winters, we can have consistent snow cover on the ground for up to 3 months, and patchy, on off snow for anothe 4-6 weeks at either end of the season.

Sounded good. I know nothing about this sport except what I have read, so I hope I made a good choice. If not, well, I can try again.
