Can’t decide.

Chiefs:
Pros:
Great young quarterback, can make history and piss off Tim Brady.
Trump hates Taylor Swift and that’s her (boyfriend’s) team.
Cons:
MAGA quarterback
Travis: disappointed he didn’t stand up for Taylor
A three peat would piss of Tom Brady but also hurt NE fans, who are great people and who vote blue.

Eagles:
Pros:
Young quarterback, blew off trump
Whole team blew off Trump when they won last time
City of Philadelphia is blue. Bidens probably both pulling for Phillies.
Cons:
It’s the Eagles. Fans are brutal, may destroy New Orleans.

4. KC Chiefs. Mahomes is great and I really want him to "3-pete" plus Kansas City, MO, is a great town...

(Just a reminder, though KS fans love the Chiefs too, the majority of KC is on the Missouri side and at least for now, KC Chiefs are a Missouri institution).

The Chiefs are the ONE thing that can counter all the MAGA crap in Missouri and that still gives me hope. Kansas City is a progressive (relatively speaking) bastion of Missouri and if we want to see change in the future, our support of this team is a good thing.

Plus, I lived there as a very young child for a few years and still have some family in and around KC (both KS and MO). Fond memories of those times despite how very young I was.

Plus like my beloved college favorite, UGA Bulldogs, KC Chiefs wear RED!

7. Mahomes has some Trumpers in his family, but I would argue strongly he is NOT a Trump supporter...

He has had to be diplomatic but I have friends who knew him at Texas Tech and likewise have read a lot of his comments in recent years. Conclusions that he supports Trump are really out from out-of-context comments. Plus, he's mixed race with a black father. Do you REALLY thing that lends to his likely supporting Trump? Nope. No way. His wife wrote one tweet that made it seem that way, but when questioned, she absolutely equivocated. And Patrick said enough to conclude he didn't agree no matter what her position (plus his bud, Travis is absolutely NO Trump fan--again he's been diplomatic, but that is to be expected).

Having lived north of KC from 1989-94, I'm usually a Chiefs fan. But I really dislike how Reid and Mahomes have become whores for insurance company ads.
