Ugh, I saw my little 5 year old patient dancing suggestively, using a chair and wiggling her bottom.

I asked her to stop and asked her if her mom had ever seen her dance like that. (I knew the answer) She said, "No." I asked if that was because she knew her mom would not approve. She answered, "yes."

I had to call her mom in and tell her what had occurred. We both agree that we aren't trying to shame her, but told her that was a dance for adult women only. Mom agrees that we need to accept that kids can have sexual feelings, but that there are things she absolutely cannot do as a child.

My baby girl!!!! 😔 😟 🙁

I had to reassure her that she was not in trouble.

Agree - you don't want to shame her, but it's important to let her know it's not appropriate.

I love this child as much as I could my own. I would run in front of a bus to save her, literally. She'll be 5 next week. My boss said it was OK to buy her a small gift. Under $20.00.

She loves pink, princesses, dresses and unicorns.

Does dad watch porn and she saw it? Or what?
That would be my question? She saw it somewhere.

But porn watching in this house? No. Probably YouTube somewhere. Mom is going to keep a better eye on what she is watching.
