I had no idea that the DU Lounge would be so hostile toward...

..the Twist! I posted to videos yesterday that dropped like stones in a lake - one of Chubby Checker, and the other of Joey Dee and the Starliters. Is there a history of anti-Twist sentiment at DU?? If so, there may be only one cure...

In my younger days...I never lost a Twist contest I entered....loved it. Bum knee or I'd still be twisting...

But twisting to the left is the best part! If NASCAR folks want to be Republicans, maybe they should change the direction the cars go so that they're always turning right!

At the present time, I've got several broken vertebra that are never going to heal. One bout at "The Twist" and I'd be six feet under, but it WOULD be a fun way to go!
