Not to mention - they absolutely vanish if they stand still!

couldn't decide which way she wanted to go. I backed up against the house and stayed very still, what I didn't want was for her to end up in my lap. She's a young adult and was probably in the 140-150lb range so she would've left a mark if I'd got in her way.

But hardly made a sound, even when she was leaping around in the ivy.

reminds me of driving through Yellowstone after visiting Yosemite(superior) two years ago. We were in a long line of cars, hours long in the park-finally my wife and I got to see what those ahead of us had been gazing at, jaws agape, for the last two hours. It was a small group of freekin' deer. I am from Wisconsin, where we avoid these like the plague, lest we need new vehicles.
On the upside, being as common as house flies, and seeing others appreciating them lacking the experience, it makes me appreciate them more, despite their suicidal attempts to crack my windshield.

Pretty much the same thing - people pulled over to the side of the road in rental cars with their cameras out taking pictures of pine trees.

So lucky here, every day brings 3 or more does and an occasional buck in our yard. Now, being hunting season, I'm trying to send them the vibe to hang around this property.

Wow, what incredible pictures! She is just gorgeous.

I hope she didn't have any problem getting out of your yard...

I wish so much that I lived where I could see such sights!

How's MIRT treating ya?

There's a creek about a block from my house that goes up into the hills. Lots of critters around.

MIRT's been a great gig. It's very interesting to see what goes on from day to day. Great team too.
