The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsGood morning my DU family,
Please give yourself permission to try something new and to experience that new thing as a child. Let the flavor or view or task take your breath away, fill you with awe or inspire you to greater heights. No matter which, feel that experience with all your heart, you know, like a child would.
Have an adventurous day.
Love, John

(14,622 posts)Coffee at the moment up at 03:OO east coast time. It was a Ruff night. As in thunderstorms my furry boy was nervous and scared some intense bed cuddles.

(69,894 posts)My Pittie gets really pissed off when it storms.
Used to have a sweet Sheltie boy who would shake terribly during storms & stupid fireworks on holidays. Nothing would calm him.

(4,321 posts)It is so easy to go through a day's routines, and not give much thought to what you're doing. I am going to try living the experience, as a child would. Thanks again, peace.

(11,770 posts)Approaching each day with childlike wonderment and awe creates exciting days. My wife and I have been retired for a long time. We are of the earth and endeavor to bring more life into existence from that same earth. Doing so mindfully lets you experience the joy of creation and the symbiotic relationships that make us prosper. Most times it leads to the eternal question
why
which when attempting to answer opens a world of awe.
Great thought, John
Thank you for the seed of thinking this A.M.
