The way Atlas Shrugged II is pulling in money they should make ASIII...

just to make sure the folks that brought you this movie goes totally bankrupt!

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/

Only 2 weeks out and ASII brought in $613,000 or $649 average per the 900+ theaters that still carried this movie. In fact of the 40 movies tracked from last week, ASII had the WORST dropoff from prior week of any of the other movies. Down 65%.

Which pretty much means this movie will be pulled this week except maybe a few of the really hardcore theaters deep in right-wing country.

So far Atlas Shrugged II has made just shy of $3mil and they paid $10mil to make this movie. Geez it sounds like this movie was made by the GOP the way that works out.

... but I can't imagine how badly it would suck to work on one of these films if you weren't a member of the cult.

They've had to cancel 4 more showings since no one showed up.

He said even when people showed up, if it isn't a bused-in group, they'll have 3 or 4 people per showing. At most.

It's kind of axiomatic that if you're still reading Ayn Rand, you're male, and you've outgrown acne cream, you have no life.
