Tom Cruise Calls Godzilla Minus One "Perfect" and Praises Director for Reinventing the Genre

Tom Cruise recently showed a lot of love for Godzilla Minus One, the Japanese monster film that took fans and critics by surprise with its emotional storytelling and powerful visuals. Cruise praised the film directly to its director, Takashi Yamazaki, and didn’t hold back his excitement about it.

Cruise told Yamazaki how deeply impressed he was with the movie. “Oh my gosh, so beautiful and human, you reinvented the genre, it was fantastic… perfect!” he said.

The praise is especially meaningful coming from someone like Cruise, who’s been part of Hollywood for decades and is known for his work in action-packed blockbusters like Top Gun and the Mission: Impossible series.

For him to speak so highly of a Japanese Godzilla film shows just how far Godzilla Minus One has reached across the globe.
