It was love at first listen. I had to find more and more of his songs. I was hooked.

Meatloaf's voice was a force of nature. ( I say 'was' because I've heard him in concert several times in the last 20 years, and that amazing voice is gone, a memory. Sad...)
Jim Steinman's songs have this all-or-nothing, now-or-never, do-or-die quality to them that just keeps the listener coming back for more.
