Such a great dog. One moment I will always remember. He was a fluffy soft white fur. A friend of mine gave me a cozy, fluffy white jacket she did not wear anymore. The first time I put it on, Bernie looked up at me with an astonished, jubilant look on his face and began jumping up and down with excitement — making repeated sideways glances at our other dog, a black-and-white springerdoodle. It seemed very much like he was saying,

“See?? I TOLD you she was my mom! See? I KNEW we were related!!”
