Who is more overzealous, the pumpkin or bacon lobbyists?

I know this is the time of year for the pumpkin, but everywhere I go and everything I see now comes in a seasonal pumpkin flavor. The pumpkin ale and pumpkin coffee are ok, but pumpkin shampoo???

Then on the other side we have the ever pervasive bacon. It's even made it's way to sundaes, beer, vodka, toothpaste, and soap.

Which of these really need to dial it back, the pumpkin or bacon people
