Can thunderstorms have a sense of humor?

I took this picture on my phone around sunset as a storm was rolling in.

I zoomed in and so should you to get a good look at that interesting cloud formation.

I think I found the switch to power up the storm.

The crack in time appeared in a couple of episodes of Dr. Who featuring Amy Pond.
