"Love, Actually" is on. I hate Laura Linney's story arc.

WTF? She can't be with the man she lusts after / loves because her brother has issues? I don't understand at all.

And here's Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead) professing his undying love for Keira Knightly. Andrew Lincoln's birth name, according to IMDB, is Andrew Clutterbuck.

But, the Laura Linney storyline really pisses me off.

I really like it, too! Definitely a feel-good movie (except for LL's story, that is) Flaxbee Oct 2012 #2

Will do :) We were hit by that "derecho" back in June and that was just amazing -- no warning at Flaxbee Oct 2012 #6

You know, I felt exactly the same about that story arc. It was just too damn much. She deserved to be happy, damn it.

But I still loved the movie...

But it's like the writers couldn't bear to give everyone a happy resolution ... and it makes no sense.

How are you, CaliforniaPeggy?

I had a great 2 hour poetry workshop this morning, and Monday night I'll start a 6 week workshop! I need some new inspiration, and these always do that for me...

I need to be folding laundry; it gets old taking stuff out of the laundry basket!

I hope things are good for you!

we're in the red "action zone" on weather.com -- we don't have flooding issues but there may be quite a few downed trees from the wind/rain combination and that could lead to no power for a few days ...

At least you have some warning and time to hopefully prepare, as much as you can.

all - now at least we have some time to get a few extra supplies in.

Some of our DUers are along the coast and I'm worried about them.
