(37,828 posts)1. The best was a Mr. Fabulous at Fables in Grand Rapids, Michigan
The ingredients weren't special, just a patty, lettuce, tomato, American cheese and olive sauce (chopped green olives mixed with real mayo) but it was so freaking good. Sadly, the place no longer exists so all I have are my memories, lol.

Dr. Praeger's California burgers are excellent. Their other burgers, not so much.

and there was a place on Light Street called Burke's. Great burgers there, along with other good stuff. Long gone now.
