I couldn’t give for years because I was in the Army in Germany. I answered truthfully in the late 90’s to whether or not I’d lived in Europe for over 3 months since 1980 (Mad Cow).

I should be clear now.

He donates blood regularly and was registered to be an organ donor. They called him recently and said they had a match with a recipient, someone he doesn't know. He said "No problem" and will get the surgery next month.
