because I had to get back to take my dog out, dog people nodded their heads in understanding while others gave the Are you kidding me? look.
If they dont understand you cant explain it to them

Dogs bark at any noise outside no matter the time. They could be sound asleep and hear a car down the block and jump up barking bloody hell.

He takes half of all of the time I spend on the animals.
