Please think about canned food mixed with dry so they can I gest some extra moisture with everything being frozen solid.
I only saw one of the five I feed today. I'll be going back in a. Hour, closer to my regular time to see if the girls show up.
I have two that have taken up residence under my trailer, one of them a big tuxedo male who is squarely to blame for Rachel Shadow being in heat now, grrrrrr.
Poor Shadow, she keeps hoping Cuddled can do something for her lol. He just looks at her funny.

I've had female cats in heat without any male cats nearby.
I thought if was nature, like with human mammals.
