If you had a musical soul mate, who would it be?

Mine is John Denver. That man speaks to my heart. Even though he's been gone decades, his music resonates like no other. I miss his beauty and his vision for our world.

I’m moody, grumpy, and idealistic and cynical in equal measure. And I am transported by a piece of beautiful music. That keeps me going when all else is despair and hopelessness.

I have attended other concerts there since, but it was my first there, I was pretty young, and it was magical under the stars. John Denver is much missed but never forgotten.

by chance while covering a protest in 2005, where she was on her say to sing at the Capitol Mall to a half million people protesting Bush's war in Iraq--four decades after she gained fame as a leading voice of peace during the Vietnam War.

i went through a tough few yrs, going back to school in my 50’s, straining my marriage. i had about 10 of steve’s albums on my phone. listen commuting downtown. every day a different song spoke to my day.
since jt’s death, i must have listened to his albums 1000 times. know all the words.
amazing song writers, both.
