(1,695 posts)I like to shop in a bulk whole foods shop where you bag up your goodies in plastic/paper bags or containers, and I have several nylon stuff sacks to carry it all home in.
Came home with my haul one day, which included a good ounce bag of cat weed, and left it all on the counter whilst I hit the bathroom. Came back to find the catnipwhich had been in the very bottom of a baghad been fished out and my two cats were spread out on the floor with ALL of it spread over pretty much the entire kitchen, with the most ridiculous stoner faces, too far gone to even get up and pretend innocence. It was more like, Come join the love-in, maaaaan.
Couldnt decide whether to laugh or be angry with them. The laughs won because it occurred to me it was nowhere near as bad as the time I found my Siamese trying to eat an entire stick of butter.
Thankfully, it was Mexican tile with a good, slick finish and fairly easy to sweep up and salvage.
Kids. *eyeroll*

(10,033 posts)I make toys with what I grow and when I bring in and hang it to dry my cat tries to jump and grab it. He's old and a bit fat and doesn't even clear the floor anymore. But I marvel at how motivated he becomes.
