I thoroughly believe, after watching the Insurrection on TV, that if the Capitol Police had started "dropping" them as they came through the doors and windows, that the other 5,000 would have taken off running. And if the Capitol Police weren't allowed to use firearms to repel the crowd, they could have rounded up all the dryChem fire extinguishers in the Capitol, stationed them at the windows and doors, and discharged them into the faces of everyone just trying to come in......game over.......
