A quick kitties update

We just got home from the vet with Shadow. She is now spayed and got her shots. I am camping on the floor with her tonight and she's been oh so snuggly since we got home and took the cone off.

I've been writing this in and off for the last hour, and Shadow is just so happy to be home, and has been my literal shadow since we got back. Yay!!!

She's eating well🥰, purring up a storm and marking me up like I was a new rag lol. She looks great, and man, her shaved little boobies are sure to turn Cuddles head when he sees her.....oh wait, he's already fixed😜.

As for the outside family, we tried grabbing two of them today but they both got away and ran off.
Per the Vet clinic, we can't bring any in from Fri to Mon as they are too busy, so wait til Tuesday it is.

I did get some more back story on how they got back there. It seems there's a guy who is chronically homeless and struggling with alcohol and drugs. He claims all of them, but clearly admits that he can't afford to take care of them. It's clear he loves those kitties, but it's also clear that he's not really connected to the really of what's happening with these babies.
It's pulling at my heart string because he has names for each of them and clearly has an attachment to them, but he can't take care of them
The vet clinic recommended bringing as many as I can, and once they fix the Papa, he should just keep him.
I just let Cuddles in and he so much wants to play with Shadow, but for obvious reasons, we're gonna hold off for a day or two.

Petunia is a little grumpy, but that's to be expected until she gets back in the groove of things lol.

I hope you guys can feel my simple joy in having her home and healthy, mixed with her attentiveness and playfulness are songs to my heart.

I almost took a picture of her with her cone, but her pathetic look was too much for me to capture.

Now for what I hope is a easy peaceful evening with my girls and Tobys boy.

The two majority whites are her sisters, the gray is a boy and the little one, the runt is a girl.

The runt and the he gray are at the vet clinic being spayed, neutered and given their shots and I gen they'll be homed.
