I live in Nanaimo, and my wife and I are both retired healthcare professionals.

We will be attending Todd’s healthcare infusion gathering on Saturday April 25, offering ourselves as an “Ask Me Anything” resource for folks considering moving to the area.

I already know of one DUer who will be attending, and would love to meet other folks curious about our little slice of paradise.

Along with Chiropractors, RMT, acupuncturists.

PT generally isn’t covered by the government healthcare. Unless the injury is work related or due to a car accident, the patient pays for the service, typically using whatever extended benefit plan their employer provides.

BTW, they are called Physiotherapists in Canada.

I don’t know if there is a shortage of PT’s like there are for nurses and family doctors.

Although I haven’t yet checked it out, there is apparently a Discord channel for the Healthcare Infusion that has all sorts of people who might be able to answer your questions.
