(661 posts)Me, 20, no car, lived down on Stewart Ave.
Best concert ever, but I didn't realize it was going to be The best concert, ever
Went with ten or so best friends.
One of my friends got swept through the door and still has his intact concert ticket.
As I recall, the tickets were only $6.50. Approximately the price of an LP at the time
Thanks for the memories,

Drove up and it was raining. By the time my girlfriend and I got there, it was freezing rain. Full-fledged snowstorm driving home.
Wicked rush to the doors to get in.
I was young and overwhelmed. Two drunk girls standing in line behind us kept grabbing my ass and giggling, leading to my girlfriend having words with them.
People filling up their bongs in the drinking fountains.
Went to the men's room. When I came out, was walking through the hallway to a large doorway to enter Barton Hall proper. They were playing Jack Straw and Jerry's guitar stopped me in my tracks while standing in that doorway.
What is this music? I was hooked then and there.
This was before I met my wife. She is a Cornell grad, and lived on that main drag in College Town that runs uphill from Rt. 79 I think? Either that street, or one of those streets that runs parallel to that main drag.
I've been to Rulloff's in College Town probably 50 times (it's not there anymore).
Below is my ticket stub.
We may have seen each other there! Amazing, incredible show!

The paint was badly oxidized to an odd greenish, though the car was supposed to be black.
