I received credit for an item I purchased from Amazon which was 4 days late, so basically, I can keep the item for free.

As for snow, no such luck, two weeks ago we had 24 inches and much of that was still on the ground on Monday when we received another 20 inches, the only snow that has melted was the 2 inches we received on Wednesday.

But Saturday night into Sunday we could have freezing rain or snow. Oh, the joys of living in the Midwest.

Weren't able to go on the offcial day. Went to a restaurant we hadn't been to in a while, and the stars were lined up so that everything - the food, the service, and of course the company - were perfect.

It’s been crumbling and started encroaching on the roadbed proper, so I took an orange cone I’d been keeping and placed it on top of the eroded area. Next day, cone was gone. A day later, a crew had made a big concrete ‘patch’ over the area. I’d been dreading someone hitting that hole and flipping over into my front yard. Aside from being grateful for waking up on the grass side every day, that repair job was the highlight of my week.

In San Diego, the high today is supposed to be around 83 degrees. That over 15 degrees above our seasonal average. We've had temperatures in the mid-70s. It feels like Summer and I'm loving it.
