1. That last image is my cat - trying to get my attention

But /my/ cat goes for the electric cables.... I always scream at him (he could get electrocuted), but all he knows is that it does Get My Attention.

2. Mine knocks everything on the coffee table on the floor. Then he scratches all the books/papers up.

He likes fresh cans of cat food all day long. I get upset and give in. I finally had to get a water bottle with a spray nossle to threaten him. He saw the spray once, ONCE, and no longer destroys my living room. He knows exactly the deal. He politely waits for me to get up to go to the bathroom or have dinner to demand food. So polite. Now to get him to stop scratching the sofa is my next plan.
