I expect Eastern Washington to declare war on Indianapolis any time now

The NCAA March Madness bracket has been released...and 16-2 Gonzaga is seeded number three in the West.

If you have never lived up here you don't understand the near-worship of this mid-major team.

I do find it interesting that the University of Idaho made the tournament for the first time ever - they're seeded 15th in the South. I wasn't aware that anyone who knows how to play basketball well enough to put a team into the Big Dance even knew where Moscow was.

Next year the Bulldogs are in the Pac-12, which has revitalized itself as a basketball conference for mid-major teams that punch above their weight.
