Black cyber truck cut me off...
Now of course I will freely admit that (1) I have anger issues which generally come out mainly when driving, (2) I should never have responded the way I did and (3) It could have gotten me into an accident or killed by the other driver.
Notwithstanding all the above, I'm gonna post my story.
So I'm traveling down a main arterial toward an intersection with another main arterial which crosses on a diagonal. The other arterial has a stop sign; mine does not. Since it's on a diagonal, people often turn right there without coming to a complete stop first. This infuriates me when it happens in front of me.
So of course the fact that it was a cyber truck pissed me off even more and I reacted ... badly. I immediately passed him (crossing a double yellow line to do so). Then when I saw he was accelerating towards me, I crowded the center and hit the brakes. This of course led to a confrontation at the light. We were side by side at that point, and he rolled down his window to yell WTF and I rolled down mine to respond.
I said, "You blew the stop sign and almost hit me.". He said, "I'm not driving, my truck is.". I was flabbergasted and said, "So your truck blew the stop sign?!". He said, "Yeah, and then you brake checked me!" Like somehow me doing that was worse than the fact that he was not driving his own vehicle and the further fact that his vehicle had done something illegal and unsafe.
So the light changes and the story ends, with me being hating cyber trucks (and their owners) that much more but also now realizing they are not just ugly and absurd but also a menace to society.
