Good morning my DU family,
I keep coming up to a realization that seems so overly simple as to be ridiculous at first reading but gets deeper and deeper the more it percolates with me.
My brain is full of shit that somebody else put there, not over my objections, but over my indifference. An example would be to say I vote straight ticket Dem, because I always have and my parents did and so on. (As in brainlessly)
It is such a joy to remember that the more I slow down and pay attention, the more consciously chosen, my values, issues and purposes will be.
Please give us a day filled with opportunities to be aware and awake in ourselves to ensure we experience our moments instead of going through them in whatever distracted state that deprives us.
