Your best Easter memories

My mum asked me to carry freshly baked hot cross buns to our neighbour one Good Friday. As I walked into aunt Millie’s kitchen she was seasoning chicken. I was in shock - how are you seasoning chicken - aren’t you supposed to eat fish today I asked. She laughed out loud -and said Lord if you want us to eat fish today change this fowl to fish.
I still laugh at that one. Changed my thinking too 😂😀😂.

I can see why.
One day I’ll tell you about the last fight my mother and I had over religion. We finally agreed to disagree.

We always gave up candy for lent and had candy bars in our pockets as we went to midnight mass. We ate those candy bars before we got in the car to go home.

Still love a good candy bar after midnight
