(29,719 posts)Here is a cover version that I also really like. The "triplets" doing backup are a single individual, Julien Neel. I've watched lots of his works, and am always intrigued by how convincingly he interacts with himself. If you like his stuff, search Trudbol on YouTube.

(40,307 posts)So The Blues Brothers were mostly flying under the radar. Boy howdy, the band had nothing but All Star musicians!
Good luck snagging tickets for a WInterland New Years Eve concert.
Rubber Biscuit didnt make it into their album because its not a Blues song

(33,396 posts)That 12/31/1978 Winterland concert, with The Grateful Dead, The New Riders of the Purple Sage, and The Blues Brothers, was the final concert at Winterland, and lasted over eight hours.

(40,307 posts)I wouldnt be surprised if tickets sold out the first day.
Besides being the last concert at WInterland, it was also Donna Jean Godchauxs last concert with the Dead.

(1,075 posts)Not technically a doo-wop song but it's in the lyrics, and it popped into my head when I saw the thread.
