I just got a customer survey from Nikon. I'm pretty sure they didn't expect one of my answers

I've been shooting with a D500 for many years, and FINALLY they asked about it. One of the questions they asked was what were the three things I looked for when buying a new camera. Because I use this thing for press photography, I explained something they probably didn't think of: "Believe it or not, weight. In the old days press photographers would choose the heaviest cameras they could get in case they had to use their cameras as melee weapons to fight their way out of riots. It hasn't happened to me, but it's a tradition."

But for certain people, "can I use this to brain someone if I have to?" is definitely a concern.

Except I want the opposite. Light. I tend to vary 2 cameras for 8 hours every weekend in march and April since I’m the photographer for our local ren faire. Right now I carry a z8 and a d850 if I’m using 2 cameras or else just the z8.
I need to reconfigure my carrying style since this season beat the crap out of me. I carry them on a spider holster that I had modified to look Faire appropriate but I may need to have some custom tool belt suspenders added plus some kind of back brace. I’m not 35 years old anymore

I carried heavy binoculars to beat down the hoards of bird-nerds doing their "Big Year."
