4. Grim humor, but having seen a return of the ATM/gas credit card skimmer gangs

I'd suggest all be cautious and only pay cash to the teller when buying gas (and use only ATMs inside a major grocery store and in full view of staff). Not that that is the only scam in full "flower," but one that has resulted in a lot of pain for myself and others--and with a lot of recent arrests--which makes me happy,
