Sorting a couple boxes of old pictures

My daughter found a page on Facebook that covers the history of the town where my parents' store was. I joined the page and there was a picture of the volunteer firemen. My Dad was a longtime volunteer and he was in the picture. I shared it with my nephews. One of the comments referred to my Dad as the Mad Butcher and mentioned his jokes. I'd never heard my Dad called that, made me smile. My brothers nicknamed my my Mad Myrt, the Drag Hag. When I graduated from h.s., my brother painted slogans on all of the cars. He painted my Mom's nickname on her car, 1958 black and white Chevy. we got pics of all of the cars. I thought it'd be fun to scan that pic and share it.

But my pictures are all mixed up. Our daughters made a lovely photo album for our 30th Anniversary, and left the loose photos and the albums are a jumble. I'm not doing much else, so sorting pictures seemed like a good task to get to.

I picked a box that must have been my Mom's, because I've seen a lot of pics today that I haven't seen before. Still haven't found the picture I was looking for.

Happy Friday!
