The dog getting squirted by the hose reminded me of the time many years ago

He apparently had great eyesight and could recognize the stone I chose and heaved out into the stream.
One time he got swept about a quarter of a mile down a swollen Potomac river during a flood. Came out tired and happy.

that my uncle was watering the lawn with the hose over at my grandmother's house and the neighbor's dog kept barking at him so my uncle playfully squirted the dog on the nose and the woman who lived there (who was my friend) sent her husband out to yell at my uncle. So Hubby came out and he and my uncle both laughed about it until Hubby went back in the house. The dog seemed to enjoy getting spritzed so I don't know what my friend was so upset about.
