The local guys got here. They will come back next week and clean up the fallen limbs.

Hope that rest area is only 1 exit from your house and the Twinkie was fresh!

For them, it won't be much work. I had the same company trim the big trees and clean up storm damage. When they cleaned up the storm damage, my husband bargained the insurance payment and our old Buick for the work. That was 2012. Even then, Nationwide was a junk company. When they were here today, none of us thought it was that long ago they trimmed the big trees. After they left, I checked and it'll be 5 years in Nov. I won't have them do anything till fall, because there are so many critters using the yard as a nursery or cafe. So far this year, I've seen squirrels, birds, a possum, a raccoon, rabbits and smelled a skunk. Hoping Pepe moves on!

I asked when they did trimmed the big trees. I remember the guy saying if they were his trees, he couldn't afford to have them done. We laughed and laughed. I figure it'll be a hundred or so. Whatever is fair.

I have a lawn service that tries to leave the cost of their jobs up to me. I told them I have no idea, and I'll low-ball them because I'm old. That helped a little. lol
