"Gary" a one-off episode of "The Bear" HBO/Hulu

Mikey and Richie take a road-trip to Gary Indiana for Uncle Jimmy.
Good back story on Mikey.

Marin Ireland 😳😍

I was thinking it was going to be a show and was waiting for more episodes before I binged it. I guess I was waiting for nothing.

Season 4 begins in 3 weeks.

What this tells me is that these people love working with each other. It shows.

My timing might be mixed here but I think they shot season 2 and 3 consecutively because Jeremy Allen White was in the midst of the Springsteen biopic which was very well done. Very.

As much as I liked the show (except for S3), I think they wrapped it up nicely. Just like with Ted Lasso. Good chance they'll both jump the shark.

I was disappointed in "Gary". Irritating banter and rather boring. IMO

From what I’ve read about Lasso (he’s back in KC) I don’t see how it works but that’s the magic of Hollywood. Seems like they just backed up the money truck.

I agree on “Gary” but it’s what’s strangely makes “The Bear” so appealing. They just can’t get out of their own way. Mikey should’ve fell in love there but couldn’t.
