Good morning my DU family,
Awe, three itty bitty letters represent such a huge meaning for most of us, whether it's meeting a childhood hero in real life, or seeing someone so great at something that it just stays with you after having watched it live, or the miracles of nature, be it a great sunset, a double rainbow 🌈🌈, or the timeless sounds heard long ago, whose words we cherish still today.
To be in a state of awe is so thrilling to me, so exhilarating, and yet so seemingly random in its occurrence because of course, it's never scripted.
The most awesome things tend to be those stories of survival, and I'm talking about how the yous and mes of the world not just survived, but thrived in the face of tremendous odds, things like poverty, abuse, mental of physical health issues, and yet, for the vast vast majority of us, we get life right in the end.
That's awesome!
Please give us a day filled with opportunities to be in awe, to be moved to our core, and to delight in its gracing us.
