I find animal behavior interesting - often entertaining. Well worth the time. But .. kind of a classic mistake to anthropomorphize - and/or romanticize?

(114,943 posts)--with a noted behavioral observation that attaches to initial human assumptions. Over time repeated observations that result in a documented outcome will justify such assessments. But these fun little videos "hurry" that process. Still, I'm not sure why such anthropomorphizing at this early stage for these clearly "non-scientific" little videos is so problematic. They aren't intended to be scientific studies.

And, I don't know - this one just kind of struck a note ... (with me)
Maybe I just prefer when they stick to, "goldens being goofy" or "cats being jerks"
