Good morning my DU family,

Boy oh boy, here comes the heat. It's supposed to be in the mid nineties here for the next few days, ensuring my continued great relationship with good friend AC BlowIcy.

As I drove back from my sister's yesterday, I noticed that corn is already knee high in some places, even though it's not supposed to get there til the fourth of July.

Back to anticipation for a moment, oh I crave the taste of sweet corn on the cob.

As summer officially approaches, please take the extra time you need in this heat, drink your extra fluids to avoid dehydration, and keep your animals shaded if they're outside for any part of these days.

Please remember to take this heat very seriously, especially the first wave of the year for some of us. Also a good time to schedule that inspection of the system to make sure it's running at peak efficiency.

I'm sorry for the warning tone of today's message.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to take good care of ourselves, by making sure our surroundings are safe and running well and staying aware as to our ever changing conditions too.

Have a safe, beautiful hot hump day DU,
💕 Love, John

Supposed to get up to 90 degrees and high humidity here today. Too hot for me to clean up this dead tree that fell Tuesday night in another storm.
