Enjoying a classic Moscow Mule tonight.

No new innovative cocktails tonight. No experimentation. No weird libations. Just a Moscow Mule. Vodka, lime juice, ginger beer, and ice. Yummy!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Not the Russian government, but the Russian people?

They’re decent people. There’s a reason they’re over here instead of over there.

I had a Medical Assistant on my team a number of years ago who was Russian. Wonderful person. I found out a few years ago that she was a Trumpster. I checked out her Facebook page recently though, and all her Trump stuff was gone. There’s hope.

I used to go to a restaurant (a few decades ago) that kept copper mugs in the frig for their Moscow Mules.

May as well do some socializing.

I’m too much of an introvert to do this IRL.

I drink at home. Too expensive to drink out with any frequency. The local Mexican restaurant has $6 margaritas occasionally- then it’s worth it. Because you know, lime….☺️

Sometimes the basics are the best! And I’m partial to lime forward drinks (and ginger, too)!
Cheers!

by a customer and subsequent friend. It was an ad campaign by Smirnoff made famous by its Playboy Ad. It was also featured obviously in other magazines at the time, circa 1972, if I recall correctly....

copper/aluminum mug. My husband would pick up anything with advertising.

I've never had one. Sounds good!

Cheers!

IT&T killed Chile's regime over Copper Nationalization during that period of time as it was as very expensive. Then fiber came along later, making that effort pointless.... Basic Corporate economics of that era, hasn't changed much since, I keep hoping it'll get better...

My current bottle of vodka is Ketel One. One of the smoothest and tastiest vodkas I’ve ever had.
