a old saying by my late and regarding thunderstorms on the sierra nevada mts in ca

coll on the ca coast , hot as heck inland ( was 100 degrees f for a few days ) thunderstorms on the crest .( of the sierra nevada mts in ca. its that wonderful time of the year.
