One bedroom apartment available near Dayton, Ohio.

$450 a month, you pay electric. Land line and cable available of you want it. Nice neighborhood, first floor, community pool. Close to shopping and restaurants. Bus stop close by. Back patio door opens to a park-like setting. All you need is half way decent credit and a job unless you want to pay for a year up front.

PM me if interested.

Well, that's not a bad monthly fee, but I own a 4-br house outright. HopeHoops Nov 2012 #1

It's got a 1 1/2 car garage (or so it's called - haven't found a half-car to fit in the other side) and a full basement. I really don't want to move to Dayton. Actually, I just don't want to move. I like it here.

Actually, that's not true entirely. When I lived in Riverdale, MD, I had a really cool apartment. Ten food ceilings, hardwood floors, plaster archways over the connections to the rooms. I liked that one. The only downside was that the building was RIGHT next to the railroad tracks. That didn't bother me until the great tequila tragedy of 1983.

I couldn't sell it so I leased it. My tenant's lease is up and she's moving to Columbus. I have a property manager working on it, but I thought I'd post it here just in case. Hey, you never know.

... "I'm never going to drink (whatever) again" thing is pretty close to complete bullshit. My wife's an exception. She won't touch cinnamon schnapps (curiously that ALSO involved railroad tracks).

As for dancing naked in the window as the commuter train passes by, it was fun to watch all the laughing faces. Actually, I didn't do that (on that occasion) because I was floating in a bath tub with my heel plugging up the drain. That was in Riverdale, right below East West Highway.

and doesn't appreciate how beautiful it is. 2:1 odds they're currently suing MARC, Amtrak and/or Maryland Transit Authority to move the rail-line.

Yet one more reason I can't wait to get out of metro DC. No appreciation for beauty or art or culture or anything else except politics. I realize it's funny to say here, but I fucking hate that people in DC are all about their personal politics and their job and cannot talk about anything else...actually seemingly incapable.

He pretty much bought it on the spot. It had a great sun room and a porch that squirrels loved. That part might have involved the peanuts I set out, but one of the mothers brought her litter around when they were just big enough to climb. Damn were they cute.

Have you posted this in the States Forum? You can list it in Ohio. It is in U.S. under Places.

We have a house we couldn't sell and a studio garage apartment. Rented both through Craigslist very easily.
But both are also within walking distance of UNC Chapel Hill campus.

A property manager is handling the property for me and he's also a realtor. I will have the place listed in the local MLS and he said he would put it in the paper and on craigslist and such.
