How does SHE know the grocery store doesn't wanna see that?

Seriously though, I love the idea of it. Just never really had an opportunity to explore it outside my back yard.

I'm going to have swimming pool in the near future. Won't be buying a swim suit.

My little brother was a cook and handyman at a naturist resort for a couple summers.

It's not for everyone. I have introduced quite a few people to it over the years, some realize it's no big deal and they like it, others not so much.

It the startling that gets you. Wouldn't matter if had been a snake or a groundhog.

I was hunting in dense wood with deep snow once, when a ruffed grouse exploded from my feet. It's characteristic of them to nestle down in snowbanks to keep warm. When it came out of there it made an enormous racket of wings beating against a drum-like chest.

Damn near gave me a heart attack.

They used to give us a discount rate because one of the owners is a member. Now the place is booked solid with textiles and we can't afford it.

My new boyfriend has a farm out in the middle of nowhere with a huge stand of trees blocking the view from the street so I run around there.

I guess you'll have to wait a few months before you can be free outside again. There are some great hot springs here in Nor Cal, and in the winter they are really nice.

For a few years I lived within walking distance of a beach where nudity was common. But then wealthy people moved into the hills and started to act like they owned the beach too. I moved away because rents became excessive. I don't understand people like that. They move someplace because they like the atmosphere and the freedom but then they destroy the things that attracted them.

I've been tanned everywhere but my skin now shows the damage of my careless youth so mostly I cover up completely and wear a big hat whenever I'm not actually in the water.

of my local places went the same way over the years. I used to go to a couple of spots on the Russian River in Sonoma Co, but they became over run by textiles who liked calling the cops when the nudists arrived. I was never cited, but i know several who were.

I enjoy being around naked people, but not so much that I'd spend a lot of money and effort to do it.

I think "naturists" are what they called biologists in Darwin's time.

My favorite nude beach in Sandy Hook, New Jersey just got hit by Hurricane Sandy. Don't know if it'll be open by spring of 2013.

We just moved so I lost the privacy of my yard.

One of my favorite places is a river not far from where I live. Each year the snow melt fills the river, moving things around. It's always interesting to see which beaches remain, which are destroyed and which are created.

20. Couple of stories:

Nov 2012

I love skinny dipping.
There's just something that feels so free about it (no pun intended).

1. I was taking care of a pool for friends who were out of town for several months.
Stopped in one afternoon to run the vacuum and add some salt. It was hot. Hadn't brought a swim suit. It's pretty secluded, so I thought 'What the hell' and stripped off my shorts and T shirt and waded in. I was floating peacefully in the cool water when the old lady next door yelled out her window "YOU BETTER PUT A BATHING SUIT ON!".
Busted.
Old biddy.
(I was 70.)

2. Zandvoort
http://www.naaktstrandje.nl/noordholland/Zandvoort/ZandvoortEngels.html
I was on a 3 day layover in Amsterdam one summer several years ago and the crew decided on a day at the beach. Took the train out to Zandvoort. Followed the crowd to the beach.

Took a left, walking down the sand. There were three young women a few yards in front of us. We passed a flag marker and the women stopped. Put their tote bags down, stripped to the buff and put their clothing in the bags, and continued down the beach.
HO-LEE SHIT!
IT'S A NUDE BEACH!

We three looked at each other.
I said "Well...'When in Rome' or Zandvoort in this case..." and we proceeded to strip.
At first it really felt weird, and then it wasn't a big deal. Everyone else was nude. Grannies, little kids, everyone.

We stopped at one of the cabana clubs, got beers, and settled in lounge chairs and just...WATCHED.
One of the most surreal experiences I've ever had.

Naturists don't care what you wear or don't wear, unless your in the pool or hot tub. I think it would be rather difficult to swim in your chipmunk costume, easier in your birthday suit!
