Nah. Either you have EXCELLENT eyesight or it's been a LONG time since you tried to thread a needle.

I have to buy needles with extra large eyes.

(6,011 posts)7. You think that's scary? Look in a magnifying mirror!
My friend and I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond several years ago where 10X or 12X lighted magnifying mirrors were on display. I inspected my pores and wrinkles and other imperfections, then went to find my friend to tell her to look at herself. She was also horrified at how her skin looked, so we both expressed our shock by laughing... cackling(?), and looking again.
I now have a little 10x mirror to check that my eyebrows don't go too far astray- my dad had his trimmed by the barber or they would have been like Andy Rooney's, and mine are not like pencil thin lines.
Hey, maybe I'll try using the mirror to thread a needle!

I forget about them 'til I catch sight of these "ghost lines" and pull at my
eyebrow hairs until I find the ones that just keep getting pulled inches
away. Then I snip them and forget about them for several months until
the process repeats itself.

I have no idea whether others can see them or not -- I just know I can
never spot them in the mirror.

(6,011 posts)12. You should look in a small 10x mirror at a drug store
There might be ghost lines in your nose.
It would be cool to only have two hairs for each eyebrow, and all growth energy would go into them.

Who needs to thread a needle these days when shredded clothes are "in"???
