A semi was unloading fir trees at the supermarket yesterday morning. I live in the Four Corners, and I can't imagine putting up a tree five weeks before Xmas in this dry climate.

This will be my first year getting a real tree. Used to have one growing up but when i moved out i just never got around to grabbing. Can't wait to smell it again!

It's always a treat to catch a new member's first post in one's OP.

I miss the smell of the Christmas tree in the house, too. It's been years. I don't miss picking up after them, though.

I don't know if anyone is selling them yet.

I lost a branch off of a fir tree in the windstorm yesterday; someone already suggested that it would make a good small xmas tree.
