I've had these two shows in my head for a while but I can't remember their names and google has let me down. Can you guess?
1) I was young and it was serial show from the 80's. Basically, it was about an Asian kid who was taught martial arts by his grandpa. All I remember is that his grandpa dies and he get's adopted by a cop? or private detective? In one scene I remember, he and the cop are stuck in some sort of pit trap he has to cliimb out of. The kid puts on his grandpas "magic" bandana that lets him concentrate, and managed to climb out to the surprise of his partner.
2) the second show I one I really remember very little. I think it was a bout a kid who lost his dad in plane accident (although I think he is still alive). I think it was a movie. Anyways, the kid has either a ghost or imaginary adult friend (called Jack??) that helps him find the father. I think at the end of the movie, after he find the real father, the imaginary character or ghost disappears.
So there you go. Any ideas brought on by these vague descriptions. It's diving me up the wall...like the lyrics of a song you don't remember.
If you have any of your own, post below. Maybe me or some other DUer can help you out.
